With our smaller boutique style model, we are able to strive to have favorable staff to resident ratios which allows our team members to have the time to build meaningful relationships with our residents.Role:We are seeking a dedicated RN - Registered Nurse OR LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Northridge Village team! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.Responsibilities:The RN ensures provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents.The RN/LPN makes daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the residents condition and comfort.The RN/LPN follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.The RN/LPN follows infection control guidelines.The RN/LPN initiates procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.The RN/LPN assesses and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions.The RN/LPN communicates with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through.Qualifications:The RN/LPN must be a graduate from an accredited school, be currently licensed in state of which applying without encumbrance, and is responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements.Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility, but not required.Must possess a current CPR certification.Pivotal Health Care's family of Retirement Communities include:Colonial Village, Overland Park, KSMaggie's Place, Overland Park, KSWestchester Village, Lenexa KSLinden Woods Village, Gladstone, MOPrairie Vista Village, Altoona, IATerrace Glen Village, Marion, IACedar Ridge Village, West Des Moines, IANorthridge Village, Ames, IAKennybrook Village, Grimes, IAScenic Living Communities, Iowa Falls, IAPivotal Health Care is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, marital status, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability of any other characteristic protected by law.
