Position Summary: The Mechanical Process Design Engineer will design, estimate, and manage specialized mechanical projects from cradle to grave. This role will have resources to support them in Project Development, Design Management, Engineering, and Field Operations.
Essential Functions
Be the primary point of contact for clients on mechanical heavy projects and follow these types of projects from beginning to end
Work with design management team to develop successful facility designs using established estimating methods
Work with clients during design/pre-construction stage of project
Network and solicit quotations from equipment vendors, local building material suppliers, and subcontractors (including site work, millwright subs, metal buildings, process piping, and electrical)
Prepare final proposals, specifications, construction schedules, and supporting documents for project contract

Required Knowledge/Education/Experience:
3+ years of related experience (mechanical processing/engineering/design/project management)
Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience working with and reading piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, and block flow diagrams
Working knowledge in process piping design in industrial markets (i.e. pumps, valves, reactors, columns, tanks, pipe supports, etc.)
Understanding of piping codes, standards, and specifications
Familiarity with piping materials and universal piping systems
Ability to produce construction documents

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
