Job Summary
Individual Contributor role responsible for administering & processing of company payroll as part of the corporate payroll team.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Accurate calculation and payment processing of employee wages, commissions and bonus payments; ensure accurate benefit deductions are made and compliant taxation occurs. Assists in responding to emails, phone calls, and ticketing system received in the payroll department regarding the tasks and other payroll related questions as necessary. Communication with all levels of Molina personnel. 20%
Run standard and ad hoc payroll reports to audit and validate payroll compliance; maintains updated payroll compliance & legislative knowledge base; support batch balancing of export and imported files prior to payroll submission 15%
Support fulfillment of standard and adhoc report requests from internal stakeholders and internal/external auditors and government agencies. 15%
Validate proper set up, maintenance, and reporting of employee / employer work and resident state taxation 10%
Work in partnership with accounting and finance to reconcile payroll expense and liabilities. 10%
Help identify opportunities to streamline payroll and timekeeping requirements and optimize payroll processing 15%
Calculate and process on-demand payroll checks for terminations and off cycle payments 10%
Assists with special projects, as assigned. Any and all other duties and assignments deemed appropriate by leadership. 5%.
- Job Qualifications

Required Education
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Min 5 + years of multi state payroll and
multiple Federal and state tax ID's, Vertex Tax Application; ADP Tax Manager; Kronos Timekeeping
MS Suite - Intermediate Excel skills required; knowledge of ADP Tax Manager; ADP Smart Compliance, ADP Year End, ADP W2c Manager, Vertex Tax,
Preferred Experience
JDE Payroll; Oracle Cloud Payroll; Kronos Dimension Timekeeping; Ticketing System
