Part Time Medical Assistant Work $15/hr (Des Moines, IA) We welcome all of our hero EMT's and Firefighters who may be looking for extra cash on your days off to apply as well. compensation: $15/HR plus travel time is paid as well $150/Day Phlebotomist services employment type: part-time/PRN This position is ideal for a person who is only looking for part time hours or may have another job and would like to make extra cash on your days off. WEEKEND HOURS ARE REQUIRED THIS FALL. Mostly Friday and Saturday. We provide statewide mobile health screening. This low supervision position requires a flexible, positive attitude. We at Stroke Detection Plus are a group of healthcare professionals, including radiologists, sonographers, nurses, EMT's, phlebotomist, and CNA's, MA's who are striving to reduce the incidence of stroke and cardiovascular disease. We give the healthy population an opportunity to obtain diagnostic screenings before they have disabling signs and symptoms. We are looking for a self starter, who is reliable, responsible, mature, and very punctual. You will travel within a 6 hour radius in the company van with 2 other healthcare professionals performing vascular screenings. This is a PRN position. A good driving record is necessary. A strong medical background is a plus. This position will be greeting customers, registering them for our screenings, and performing osteoporosis screenings as well as obtaining blood pressures and Biometric screenings. We provide full training.
