Culinary District ManagerWhat is this role?Campus Cooks is looking for an experienced Culinary District Manager. This role lies within our Operations department and will report to Field Operations Manager while partnering with other members of the Operations Management team. You will be supporting the organization in the partnerships you will build with Campus Cooks' partners in your district.Who are we?Campus Cooks are the experts in delivering professional staffing and foodservice experiences.   • Actively enhancing the customer experience.How will you make an impact?You are responsible for engaging fraternities and sororities in the outsourcing of professional kitchen management and the services of private chefs. Working cross functionally, District Managers are integral to ensuring that expectations are exceeded for both our chapter partners as well as the kitchen teams across the district. Executing custom meal programs throughout academic years, Campus Cooks is focused on providing the members of each chapter the best experience we can: for their time there. Your mission will be:You will be the point person for team members to turn to as a resource and support system. You will build strong relationships with chapters in your region and be a integral part in the functions of the operations team. You can expect to:
    • Generate and report daily, weekly, monthly reports
    • Manage staff and direct operations
    • Recruit, hire, train, discipline and terminate personnel as needed
    • Handle employee relation
    • Attend and preside over meetings
    • Meet regional and house by house budgetary and retention goals by overseeing and initiating corrective actions
    • Participate in developing and enforcing policies and procedures
    • Determine salary brackets
    • Preparing and completing action plans. Resolving problems, determining regional improvements, and implementing change
    • Continued training in all aspects of kitchen and paperwork
    • Continued contact with customers such as house directors, alumni, and students to ensure and high customer and client satisfaction
    • Clearly communicate goals of company and relay company information
    • Setting the overall standard and tone for the region through strong leadership
    • Participate in lead generation and business development
    • Promote company's mission and values
    • Solicit customer feedback
    • Motivate and encourage employees
    • Regular travel is required across sites/statesWho you are:Someone who is passionate about being organized, delivering first-class service, and:
      • A minimum of three years of similar Food & Beverage Chef / Cooking experience
      • A minimum of three years of culinary / hospitality management
      • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience
      • Able to represent a company across multiple sites
      • Able to effectively communicate both written and verbally
      • Competency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Internet NavigationYou'll really catch our eye if you:
        • Are familiar with functioning in an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) setting
        • Have experience using HRIS systems such as Paycom or Paylocity, JazzHR and Sharepoint
