in a specialized neonatal intensive care environment, focusing on
premature and critically ill newborns. This travel opportunity is
based in Ankeny, IA, requiring an RN with NICU experience skilled
in managing complex neonatal conditions such as respiratory
distress, hypoglycemia, and cases requiring vasopressors and
sedation. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive neonatal
nursing care to patients with critical needs. Manage and monitor
vital signs, administer medications including vasopressors and
sedation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and
implement individualized care plans. Utilize EPIC electronic
medical records for accurate documentation. Maintain adherence to
unit protocols and safety standards with patient ratios of 1:2 or
1:3. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with NICU
clinical experience. Proficient in neonatal critical care,
including use of advanced life support interventions. Experience
working in a neonatal intensive care unit with complex and
premature infants. Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred.
Ability to function effectively within a fast-paced healthcare
environment. Schedule/Hours: 3640 hours per week, with billable
overtime beyond 40 hours. On-call pay and overtime available with
specified multipliers. This position offers the chance to work in a
