ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - CVOR Job Details: • Minimum 24 months current/recent operating room experience required • Circulating and operating room experience required • Strong proficient experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures required • Basic general surgery circulating experience required if not assigned to cardiac cases • Scrub experience needed including open heart scrubbing required • EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years required • Trauma Level I experience highly preferred • No first time travelers - must have completed a travel assignment within previous 12 months • Experience preferred in daVinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular procedures • Patient ratio of 1:1 • Average 35-50 cases per day with expectation for turnovers less than 20 minutes • Work in 16 OR unit running 12-14 routinely as a Level 1 trauma center • Service lines include cardiac/PV, neuro, ortho trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants • Both scrub and circulate roles preferred • Scrubs provided • Up to 2 overnight calls per week and 4 weekends per 13-week contract • Weekend call schedule from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM • Required to float across all campuses • BLS (AHA) certification required • Iowa nursing license required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center with a comprehensive 16-OR surgical suite featuring advanced technology including 3 daVinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro navigation.
