Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation
Therapist Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM -
5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months of
recent/current experience required License: State Radiologic
Oncology license required Certifications: ARRT certificate
required, AHA BLS - Basic Life Support certificate required
Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC - Experience with TrueBeam,
Halcyon, TrueBeam Edge preferred - ARRT certificate with "T -
radiation therapy" discipline listed required Description: As a
member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute
professional knowledge and skills in the provision and management
of care to patients. You will apply the nursing process in a
clinical setting. You will work with various types of treatment,
including SRS, SRT, SBRT, VMAT, 3D, Electrons, and HyperArc. You
will be expected to work with a team consisting of radiation
oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists. You will provide care to
approximately 80 patients per day. Scrubs will be black. You will
participate in holiday scheduling, which requires working 2 of the
3 major winter holidays. You are required to have travel experience
and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
