Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: West Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,235 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in West Des Moines, Iowa, 50266! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required Must-Have: - 24 months of current Medical Surgical experience required - Ortho/Rehab experience including total joints and braces required - EPIC EMR experience required - Experience administering medication specific to cardiac IV/intravenous push highly preferred - Skills checklist must be specific to Medical Surgical discipline required - Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting. Candidates with Ortho/Rehab experience including total joints and braces will be prioritized. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. Experience with administering medication specific to cardiac IV/intravenous push is highly preferred. Nurse must have an active Iowa license or compact/multistate license at the time of submission. Candidates will be required to float across different campuses. The nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 during the day shift and 1:6 during the night shift. The position includes a rotation of every third weekend including holidays. Scrubs should be solid navy blue.
