Job Description Adult Reconstructive Surgeon opening in
Waterloo, Iowa - Located 55 miles to Cedar Rapids - J1 &H1 visa
sponsorshipPosition Details: - Full-time, permanent - Orthopedic
Surgery- Adult Reconstructive Surgery - Physician Waterloo, IA -
Efficient, well-supported clinic - Schedule: Monday-Friday
8:00AM-5:00PM - Call coverage with work/life balance - 204 bed
Hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist Team -
12 bed ICU with intensivist - Support from a full range of
dedicated specialists and subspecialists - Excellent OR access with
experienced staff - Ambulatory surgery center for outpatient
procedures available - Onsite Physical therapy, full-scale
diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT -
Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to
improve care coordination Responsibilities: - Rewarding mix between
outpatient, inpatient, and surgery - Flexible work week-with built
in surgery days at hospital and ASC - General Orthopedic surgery
with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests - Full range
of clinical services include fracture management, total hips &
knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel
release - In office procedures include injections, casting, suture
removal, fluid withdraw from joint - Ability to work as a team
member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Hold an
unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa - Hold current
and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and
administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced
Practitioners field of practice - Eligible to work in the United
