Through our leadership expertise, high quality products, rich data and innovative ag technology, we strive to help the retailers and farmers they serve intelligently advance agriculture and help farmers win in every field around the world.The Regional Sales Manager - Crop Nutrients is responsible for regionally executing overall CN strategies. This includes overall business development in the region, P&L responsibilities and building long-term customer relationships. Must have strong leadership and communication skills which will influence the teams to work together cross-functionally.% of Total Job Duty or Area of Responsibility30% Strategy ExecutionResponsible for leading execution of CN Strategies with local sales teams.Collaborate with Procurement, Market Intel and Logistic teams for efficient development and execution of purchasing recommendations.Responsible for local implementation of CN Alignment Value Proposition.Maintain accurate regional demand forecast to be used within larger CN organization.25% Leverage Talent Builds and manages regional team of up to 7 sales membersIdentifies staffing and market needs throughout the yearAttracts, develops, manages and retains critical and diverse talentProvides coaching, feedback and support, and shares best practices, effectively and constructively enabling individuals to achieve high performance.25% Owner/Customer Develops and maintains key owner/ag retailer relationshipsProperly allocates resources, based on customer profitabilityCollaborate with Land O'Lakes counterparts for overall customer development including ACT, CPP, SUSTAIN, etc.20% Business Management Responsible for Key Performance Indicators:Regional expensesSales and growth targetsGross MarginStrategic ImperativesWork collaboratively with peers in other departments to drive teamwork.Job Scope: Budget, Revenue, Direct Reports, Sales Volume, etc.Achieve Region Revenue/Volume TargetsOwn Aligned value proposition executionResponsible for leading, coaching and managing sales team membersManage sales expense budget for assigned regionOwns relationships at leadership level with top customers/owners from a CN perspective. Required Qualifications:Experience and Education:Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in agricultural related field (Economics, Education, Animal Science or Business).6+ years of successful sales experience required.
