Excellent opportunity! Commercial Millwork and Custom Casework Company is seeking an Operations Manager. This role will be responsible in directing the daily activities in the company. This individual will need to possess a strong ability in organization and scheduling, as this is the number one priority of this position. Additional duties will/may include: - Manage day-to-day operations of plant - Ensure all tracking is timely and accurate - Responsible for monitoring adherence of safety policies - Coordination of production activities including job scheduling, organization, staffing, etc. (taking all of the moving parts and organizing them efficiently) Qualifications: - Strong plant management and project management skills are required. - Computer skills are very important, need to be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) - AutoCAD experience is a plus, but not required. - Technical background is a plus: Lean Manufacturing, Work In Progress, Just In Time, TQM, ERP, Six Sigma, etc. - Creative thinker, problem solver, and coordinator with experience in developing and implementing processes. - Proven leader with experience supervising staff; High level in management of people by holding them accountable and developing their potential. - Achievement oriented and work within a goal-oriented structure - Possess a high energy level, capable of handling complex and demanding issues under pressure in a fast pace environment - Strong administrator and organizer, a people-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. - Minimum of 5-7+ years of commercial millwork, architectural millwork, and/or custom casework industry - Experience is most important; Bachelor Degree or Technical Degree is a big plus, but not required.
