Job Description:

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the client's network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance. Your responsibilities will involve lifecycle management activities, including hardware replacements, upgrades, and configurations, as well as implementing and maintaining firewall rules to ensure network security and compliance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement and optimization. Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform network infrastructure lifecycle management tasks, including hardware replacements, upgrades, and configurations.
Implement and maintain firewall rule changes to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and support.

Required Experience/Skills:

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of layer 2 switching protocols and technologies.
Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and security.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Panorama.
Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of network automation and scripting.
Familiarity with cloud networking technologies.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
