184 bed Hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established
Hospitalist Team 18 bed open ICU with Intensivists rotations
Excellent OR access with experienced staff Epic EMR Job/Practice
Description: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist • As a member of a
multi-disciplinary team, Psychiatrist is responsible for a blend of
crisis, acute inpatient, and partial hospitalization care •
Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and brief
psychotherapy • Psychiatrist evaluates, interprets, and coordinates
information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient
care • Provides support and education to hospital Residency and
Fellowship programs • Demonstrates expertise in the interpretations
of biopsychosocial data regarding client status and assumes
accountability and responsibility for interventions prescribed

Background : Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist MD or DO Board
Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry Ability to obtain and
hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold
current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe
and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the
physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States
